Cowboys vs. Seahawks

Cowboys are riding high into the playoffs where they have known nothing but disappointment. This season has been a tale of two stories as Dak Prescott has been exposed in a sense but he has come alive in recent weeks with the help of Ezekiel Elliott. The key to this game for the Dallas Cowboys will be if Dak Prescott and the Cowboys can keep from turning the ball over. When the Cowboys did not have any turnovers this season they have won seven straight games. Seahawks Wilson tied for a career low in interceptions which he will have to continue against the Dallas Cowboys.

My Pick: Seahawks

Chargers have been riding high this season as they are one of the most complete teams in this playoff race. If the chargers get a win verses the Baltimore Ravens they are going to need Philip Rivers to play at his best. Chargers will also have to learn from their mistakes on the offensive side by spreading the wealth and involving Keenan Allen who will be key in determining if the Los Angeles Chargers win this game. On the other hand Lamar Jackson will have to mature quickly and not get sucked into the intensity the playoffs can bring. Jackson has one of the best defenses to rely on who have also smothered Rivers with immense amounts of pressure. If Jackson can run the ball and pass it without turning it over expect the Ravens to move on to next weekend.

Pick: Chargers

Bears have been absolutely dominated their division this year but the real test will come quickly this week as the defending champion Eagles look to make a miracle run after Carson Wentz went down Nick Foles has stepped in and changed the dynamic of this Eagles team. Mitch Trubisky has had an exceptional season this year but it will ultimately come down to him on whether the Bears can advance in this playoff race. The game will be played in Chicago on Sunday night which will be a special setting to play football between two historical teams.

Pick: Bears

Indianapolis Colts vs Houston Texans

Houston Texans led by Deshaun Watson have a wild card game this weekend that feature two teams willing to take the NFL playoffs by surprise. In order for the Texans to stay in the tournament they are going to have the challenge of protecting their star quarterback which has been their biggest weakness this season. Deshaun Watson has been pressured 41 percent of the time this season which is the highest in the NFL. He also has been sacked 42 times this season and has been contacted 165 times which is most in the NFL. The Texans are riding high into the playoffs after winning ten of their last twelve games but will require some quick adjustments if they want to play football next weekend. On the other side of the ball the Colts have been riding high after starting the season with just one win and five losses. As Andrew Luck has gained confidence so has his yards per attempt which he will have to continue to do in order for Colts to get the Win this weekend.
